Ally Marrotte
At Amarot, we take the guesswork out of renovations and help people get the most out of their homes, by effortlessly creating an environment they love coming home to.
It is my role to explore the world us and derive inspiration from the many ways our surroundings delight our senses and inspire our lives.
Design is my life long work of art, my passion, purpose and a service I feel honored to offer my community.

I would describe myself as an ambitious, dynamic & lively Sagittarius, who chooses to see the glass half full.
I've spent years exploring what creativity means to me and in the process I've gone down all kinds of rabbit holes.
My explorations have delved into art & illustration, fashion & textiles, product & branding, furniture & wood work, until I eventually found my true calling in spatial design, where it was love at first concept.
For me, there is something magical about the three dimensional realm, I feel inspired by it's possibilities and the impact it has on our senses.
My work is an authentic representation of my practice and to me,
There is nothing more rewarding than walking through a space that I've poured my heart and soul into.

I hold a Bachelor of Design from UNSW and I've spent a year in Milan studying a Masters of Interior Architecture. My Italian is a little rusty but my thirst for education is not, which is why I've recently embarked on a Diploma of Building Design.
Mastering my skills and developing knowledge is a lifelong conquest, which I will continue to explore and develop in tandem with my professional practice.
I am confident my service as a spatial designer is valuable and believe together, we can develop your dream space & fill it with style and substance.

Spaces which convey a mood, communicate tone and inspire emotion are my absolute favourite. There is nothing quite like walking into a room and absorbing its energy.
Function
For me, function comes first, but that doesn't mean it can't be beautiful. Finding the equilibrium between purpose and aesthetic is a fine art, one I enjoy immensely.
