Project Handover
When the construction is complete, the project is handed over for our client to move in and followed up with a defects list, where any minor defects are noted and repaired, so we can ensure everything is in perfect working order for project sign off and you can enjoy your new home in peace!
Furniture and Styling
Often with a new renovation comes the opportunity for new furniture! If this is a selected service, we work on this element in tandem with the building design process to curate and customise selected furniture, art and styling pieces to suit your new home and give you a cohesive, finished result.

Client Discovery
We start with a complimentary client discovery call to understand what your current situation is and what you want to achieve, so we can tailor the perfect Design Blueprint to suit your needs
Design Blueprint
All of our projects begin with a customised Design Blueprint, which is our name for a comprehensive document that outlines all you need to get started. This will include a questionnaire, spatial analysis, design brief, design service outline, ball park budget estimate, project process, timeline estimate and our customised design service fee proposal
Contractural Engagement
If we are a good match, we engage into a contractual agreement and the project begins!
Site Logistics
Our official project engagement begins with gathering all preliminary site information to learn and understand the nuances of your home. We gain specialist reports if required, outline the design strategy and conduct comprehensive documentation of the existing site
Conceptual Design
We further explore how you live and what you want to create, so we can develop design concepts that meet your brief. Project research commences and we produce 3D models, floor plans, elevations and vision boards to illustrate our ideas and conduct a conceptual design presentation and listen closely to your feedback
Detailed Design Development
Next we move into the Detailed Design Phase, where all aspects of the design are refined. We incorporate your feedback and provide further details on the materials, appliances, specifications, fixtures and joinery design. Our specifications are presented in an interactive online platform and our 3D model is texturised with all documentation collated for review in our Detailed Design Presentation
Project Documentation
We allow for another round of revisions to ensure everything is where you want it, before moving into the Project Documentation Phase. This is where we draft our designs into high quality working drawings that can be issued for building approvals or to specialty trades, builders and suppliers for custom costing.
FF&E
All design specifications are finalised and quantity costed with lead times advised and scheduled
Project Costing
The final documentation package is compiled and sent to the relevant trades for a comprehensive costing. We organise a 'trade day' when all relevant contractors come to the site to gather the information required to provide an accurate quote. We can recommend suitable trades and/or work with trades selected by our clients.
Building Approvals
Project quotes are finalised, trades are selected and a project timeline established and if required, the relevant documentation is collated for lodgement to neighbours and Body Corporate for building approval
Construction & Project Management
We ensure all project documentation is in the hands of the trades for construction commencement and remain available for ongoing site meetings, where we can oversee the quality of workmanship and offer design input when required. If any changes result during the construction phase, we are able to produce design revisions and update the documentation as needed.
